If the Little Bird was the scouting vehicle of the wasteland gangs, the Thumper is the backbone. Built from a refurbished off road vehicle, the Thumper offers more protection and firepower to it's occupants. Although not as fast as the Little Bird, the Thumper features a forward machine gun, a spotlight and an anti-aircraft type weapon. In addition, the drivers have outfitted their ride with a custom (and crude) heavy front bumper to ram their enemies vehicles. They've also been known to pass on using bullets in favor of running their victims down, just for the fun of it.

I found a few more 3.75 size vehicles and thought I would try to use them up in the same post-apocalypse style I did with the last car. Fairly easy custom, the car got a completely new paintjob for starters, with a whole bunch of different kinds of washes, drybrushes and spraypaint.

In addition, I put on the heavier bumper for a more menacing look and attached several smaller details, such as the water barrels and extra gas tank.

Real easy, I thought it was a fun conversion into a wasteland warrior.
