The Carnage symbiote stumbled upon Lockdown's ship, looking for a new host to bond with, crossing paths with one of the Dinobots within. After bonding, it grants its wielder the ability to stick to walls, create web like substance, tendrils and to create bladed and blunt instruments from its own mass. The Carnage symbiote has shown the ability to somehow convert negative emotions into biomass, enabling it to regenerate from a few cells. It can also convert ingested materials such as metal and Energon into additional biomass. It also grants limited shape shifting. The symbiote has also shown the ability to repair corrupted Transformium.
