Millionaire art dealer by day, protector of Big City by night, Radley Crown fights crime alongside his robot-canine partner, Dynomutt--although "Dog Blunder" often hindered more than helped with the capture of the villain of the week.

I think kids growing up in the 80's had it best. We had new cartoons like Transformers, GI Joe, He-Man, and a plethora of other amazing Saturday Morning Cartoons, but also the best in re-runs from the 60's and 70's. Nowadays I'm saddened when I put the TV on and see what's on NBC, CBS, ABC on Saturday. I know there's the cartoon channels, but man, I loved cartoons on Saturday morning, and seeing the ads in 80's comics advertising that seasons schedule!

Thanks to the USA Cartoon Express I've always wanted a Blue Falcon and Dog-Wonder action figure. I had high hopes that maybe Jazwares might make the dup alongside their Space Ghost, but sadly that line ran out of gas fast. The quality wasn't great anyway.

I've been wanting to make BF for a longtime, but how could I make Blue Falcon without Dynomutt? So as soon as Mattel released those WWE/Scooby-Doo two-packs I knew it was time to make them.

Blue Falcon was made from a DCUC OMAC body. I sanded off one ring of his gauntlet, sculpted the belt and feet, and paint. The cape was just a standard DCUC cape, and for the head I used the Public Enemies Superman head to give him a little bit more of a cartoon look than a standard DCUC figure. The cowl was sculpted on and that took a couple tries to get a look I was really happy with.

Overall, I'm thrilled with how he turned out. I think he really pops on the shelf. Hope to one day make some more Hanna-Barbera characters to stand alongside him, but for now he's got the Jazwares Space Ghost, and Dynomutt to stand beside him.
