Why the half helmet? During the 60's Kent lost Nabu's helmet in a battle against The Spectre but since he was bathe with Nabu's power he only kept half of the magic. Later Thomas explained in the All Star Squadron series that Kent preferred to use this half helmet instead of the full one to avoid Nabu controlling him. Pretty cool!!
