Hey y'all Sushi here with the first figure I have ever posted anywhere. I'm a little nervous, but here goes. Since Gambit is my absolute fave x-character I feel it's only fitting that my Gambit I slightly tweaked for my MU collection be first. Unlike many people, I actually like Hasbro's version of Gambit. It just needs a little help, so first I did the WO Maveric lower leg and feet swap to add some much needed height and articulation. Now that Gambit's height was corrected I needed to lengthen the arms to keep everything in proportion. This was achieved by adding a few millimeters to the ends of the sleeves and replacing the hands with a set from Union Jack.I ditched the bandana he came with and used a piece of Hawkeye's collar to replace it. The staff came with the figure and the card I tooled from a MS Gambit and added some hot glue. Some paint and dullcoat finished things up. While it might not be the most elaborate custom Gambit, it is super clean, the right height, and looks great standing next to his MU X-men brethren.
