I'm new to all this...so here goes! Always liked these Predators from this AVP movie. Movie figures from Microman/Takara were GREAT (I think)! Disappointed they never made a Chopper, so I finally tried my hand at it! I created the mask and skulls out of Sculpey Clay and used toothpicks for the staffs. The staff ropes were twist-ties and the kilt or whatever you wanna call it (it's late...haha) was made by cutting out painting tape stuck back to back so it wouldn't stick to the figure. It's really a mystery to me how the skull staffs stayed on the Chopper's back all that time. I couldn't find any good pix of that either, but my solution was to remove the back armor, adhere a metallic tape strip to the edges and pop everything back on. Painted with acrylic paint. Still need to seal it with varnish. But a little tip...if you mess around with Sculpey clay long enough, it will start to harden. Made it tricky to refine stuff at the end. Helped immensely when I started to use a magnifying lamp to get more details on the mask. Lots of learning here. Lots of hours! Could be a bit better, but I'm pretty happy with the result.
