I had an extra WWE basic figure torso and wanted to add articulation to the hips. After a complex process that involved Legos, Crazy Glue, Dremeling and more than i few hours I finally got the legs with full range movement on a ball joint.

Next was who to make. After spending some time I found Exodus as I was digging thru the X-Men villain and used his more recent design as my starting point for my own artistic interpretation of his design.

Head - Ripclaw
Arms - WWE figure
Hands - Gi Joe + A.D.A.M.S. figure

Everything else was fodder.

Looks great. You have such a distinctive paint style, and I can always tell when a figure is a Shinobitron custom. what brand paints do you use? do you use mostly gloss paints, or are those "flats". I am really envious of your paint style.

Thanks! To answer your paint question its really what brand do I not use? This guy has Krylon, Citadel, P3, Folk Arts, Vallejo, and Testors. Most of my work is done in flats unless gloss is required to fit the character. Sometime I use a Vallejo Gloss coat to brighten up some areas which saves me money not having to have a gloss version of all the paints on my shelf.

Great job! Especially love the use of the Ripclaw head- looks perfect. Its awesome you got the WWE legs to have articulation- I've got a bunch of those torsos lying around so its nice to know they may be usable after all
