Gallantmon (Japanese name: Dukemon) is a member of the Royal Knights who questioned the intentions of the host computer, Yggdrasill. Because of this, Gallantmon acted individually, and tried to convince his close friend Omnimon that they were just being used and that their master Yggdrasill's Project Ark was more than it seemed. However, Omnimon refused to listen, and killed Gallantmon in a duel and is revealed that Gallantmon wanted to be deleted so that he may further invesitage Yggdrasill's intentions. Gallantmon was soon reborn as Gallantmon X, with the X-Antibody. He is clad in holy armor refined and constructed from 99.9% pure Chrome Digizoid, and his right hand can become the holy lance "Gram" while his left hand can become the holy shield "Aegis". It honors chivalry, and is a loyal vassal towards its lord.
This figure took a lot longer than I expected. Lots of sculpting and dremeling. Way too much to list, so if you really wanna know, compare an image of Gallantmon to Gallantmon X-Antibody and really any difference is sculpted on (in addition, the pauldrons are also entirely sculpted; one is MIA and the other was used on a different custom; also the other outlier is the "gems" on his shield, which are dremeled down styrene rods). One of the major things about this custom is that his shoulders were previously swivel joints; using a Transformers Build-a-Bot scrap, I installed ball joints and also new peg joints for his arms to swivel. All sculpt is Fixit except for additions to the hair, which is ProCreate. Paints are a wide array of Tamiya, Citadel, and Testors (both MMA and non-MMA). Figure was sealed with Testors MM Lusterless lacquer (which was a mistake, should've used a gloss; I like it anyway though, makes it seem more worn while still metallic). Cape is made of 100% cotton and has wires in it and thus is completely poseable.
