Anyone who has played an RPG has probably seen this grim message: "Your Party Has Perished." Wether it was because your party needed more exp, you hadn't learned your foe's weakness, or you were caught without the proper strategy or special item, the heroes met an untimely demise. What if you couldn't start back at your last save point? What would be your party's ultimate fate? Well, if I was the villain, I would use the heroes against anyone who would dare oppose me again. And, we all know some of the best and most menacing Villians are ones that were once heroes that have fallen from grace. - Deep within the bowels of the evil warlock's catacombs, low on potions, drained of MP, and bearing a slew of nasty wounds; the party of heroes, led by their mighty barbarian warrior, finally come face to face with the evil wizard they set out to destroy. The battle is fierce and the heroes try to resist the barrage of wicked spells... The party's wizard is magically silenced and finished off by a sythe of black, crackling energy. The party's rogue is polymorphed into a grey mouse and then engulfed in howling flames. The Archer of the group desperately rains a barrage of arrows at the warlock, but they stop in mid flight before their target and slowly turn around, glowing with black and green energy. They shoot back towards their owner, turning the bow master into a pincushion. The enchanted arrows drain his life force until only a skeleton in leathers with an empty quiver remains. Saris, the mighty barbarian warrior, cleaving through the last of the warlock's blank-eyed minions, finally engages the warlock. He heaves his heavy two-handed sword, but the crude weapon flies through its foe's body as if it were a ghost. The warlock smiles. An arcane verse flows from its skull-like jaw and the barbarian drops his sword and clutches his throat as his boots leave the ground. Suspended in mid air, the warrior struggles against the spell, his legs kicking in desperation. "You are too valuable to waste," hissed the necromancer with his bony, claw-hand pointing at the barbarian. "Now you are mine!" Saris' eyes grow wide in terror, their pupils fading to white, until finally the struggling ceases. His feet lower to the ground and he looks up at the warlock with an evil grimace. "What is your command... Master?" Saris the Cursed was made from a WarCraft Orc. He was given a ML colossus head and a slew of equipment from the fodder bin. His hair inside the helmet on each side of his face was from a gandalf figure while the hair and cowl in the back came from a Diablo 2 skeleton/mummy guy (his head is on the shoulder armor). The furry loin cloth was added from fodder along with the new belt ornament. Cloak from some random spawn, but it worked perfectly; matching the wind direction of the hair to add a dynamic flare, and also just aestheticly matching the grim look of the figure. Added shoulder armor, spikes, spiked thigh armor, helmet, etc. The orc's green skin was painted to turn it to tanned human flesh and the whole figure was given various base and detail paint aps. His outfit mods were done with the intention of making him look villainous rather than heroic, which worked out well I think. He also has magnetic hands, with a set of alternate fists not seen in these pics. The two-piece sword is from a medieval spawn, it was pushed in the top and bottom of a hole drilled through the fist, so it can be adjusted or even replaced with alternate weapons. Skulls were also from medieval spawn, I added a new chain and some paint. Thanks for looking and reading Realmers! This custom took me a lot of time and effort but was a great deal of fun to make. I hope you guys like him as much as I do. Thanks for voting and leaving comments gang! ![]() |
