It's been a hot second since I've posted anything, but I'm back with yet another Gambit custom. This will be my last examination of how the uniquely sculpted base Gambit figure can be upgraded to make a better one. Before we start I'd like to say how much I hate the "death persona" Gambit character. I couldn't deny how much of a beast he is on Marvel Heroes 2015 though. So like any good Gambit fan I had to have one. I started with a 2pk Gambit, I swapped out the lower arms for Snake eyes arms, hands of course Union Jack style. Ditched the bandana and added a plastic bit, also used pieces of a belt to create the x symbols on his shoulders. I added a JOE belt, and made leg straps out spare plastic from my bit box. Knees were swapped for WO Maveric ones, lower legs are from Spider-Man, and the feet came from Daredevil. His staff is a piece of clear pink styrene, and the card which he can charge with dark energy ( see x-men legacy) was made from a MS Gambit one with hot glue. A little paint some washes topped off with some dullcote. Now he stands lean and mean next to the rest of my evil mutants on the shelf!
