What's black and white and red all over? The newest member of the symbiote family, Toxin! This tendriled hero was created from a medium ML body, Agent Venom head, Carnage tendril pack, hands and feet. I used Aves Fixit Sculpt and Pro-Create for the various ooze/tendril sculpt effects on his body and topped the figure off with an airbrushed paint job sealed with Liquitex acrylic semigloss varnish.

Do you use an airbrush? and do you primer your figures before painting? great job!

I switched to shading with an airbrush after people started to ask me to repaint my older customs to match their collection. I'm a big fan of traditional brush work but an airbrush also helps speed up base coating. In this case I was able to airbrush toxin's red over the black plastic in minutes without the need of a lighter color underneath. That wouldn't have worked with a brush.

I use Bulldog Adhesion Promoter automotive primer. Its clear and works for any plastic except soft rubber
