Hordak (Masters of the Universe) Custom Action Figure
Now I wanted to create a Hordak figure(She-Ra's arch enemy) that didn't look cartoonish in nature but kinda realistic. So I grabbed the bottom part of a newer 2000 version of a Merman masters of the universe classics figure. And the upper part of an old spawn figure. I then took an extra head of a neca Freddy Krueger figure and glued a bone spine from an old predator alien head accessory that I exacto knifed, glueing over the front of his forehead towards the back of his head down the middle of his head. Grabbed the upper part of an old marvel legends Dr strange cape and shaped it oval. Then trimming off sum bones from an old marvel legends Vengeance figure lining it around the oval shaped top part of the cape crazy glueing it. Finding sum elfish type ears from on old legend of Zelda figure glueing them over the Freddy ears. Then painting his head and face with a faint white adding sum black wash with no gloss. Creating a powder finish look. I painted his teeth and eyes red. I grabbed an extra batarang accessory from a play arts kai Batman and glued a skull from an old spawn figure to his chest. Symbolizing Hordaks traditional chest piece. Grabbing also a skull with wings from an old Judge Death figure(Judge Dredd series). Painted them both red and added that black wash. Took an old cape from an old hobbit Nazgul figure and merged it with the top part of the Dr. strange cape. Did sum touching up here and there. I didn't want to have Hordak's traditional laser hand so I grabbed a Witchblade spear from an old Witchblade figure cut it in half and glued it to his top fore arm. Leaving it in its original color. There it is my take on Hordak. Minus the cartoonish look. Thanks for checking him out folks! Peace! Please wait... |
