OK so I've so been wanting any toy company to finally get GI Joe in 6 to 7 inch scale. But it doesn't look like that's gonna happen anytime soon. So custom time...I went with Cobra Commander cuz I grew up with the cartoon in the 80s. Loved Cobra Commanders iconic yell "COBRA!!!" when they attacked lol who didn't right? Anyways I grabbed a marvel select Red Skull(movie version captain america) and swapped heads with an ultimate Thor extra head I had with no hair. It popped rite on like a glove perfect. I melted the face down(hot knife) trimmed half the head off so the helmet could fit perfect. Sanded it down smooth from front to back. Giving his traditional face shield look. I then took an extra build a figure Odin head scalped it down melted here and there reshaped it with a hot knife and again sanded it perfectly. I then took sum testors silver acrylic,which when dried looks like chrome, painted the face up to give cobra commanders iconic face look. I combined the head and helmet after painting the helmet flat black. Grabbed sum cobra symbols from sum GI Joe sigma 6 accessories. Putting 1 on his belt and his helmet. I grabbed a cobra staff off a, yup, Teela masters of the universe 2000 figure. Which was like "dude its meant for a cobra commander" lol I black washed it and placed in his hand. I then took sum blue wash brushed up the custom giving that dark blue look known to cobras uniform. Didn't really show up that good but it did in sum spots buttons belt buckle and what not.
