Was going to wait and post this guy tomorrow for Halloween, but my day is looking insanely busy. So, finishing off the demon pair comes Mephisto. Originally used as Marvel's resident Devil. It really confused me when there was the Devil, Mephisto, Lucifer, and I swear one more. Then, I quit worrying about it. Because the continuity changes every few years, so that's not really a concern. Anyway, if I was going to fix up Blackheart, I really had to make Mephisto. Fun fact, he was originally a Silver Surfer villain. And then Dr Strange. Later, he made the deal with Johnny Blaze. I've just been fascinated by that Silver Surfer tidbit ever since I first heard about it. I wanted a taller, yet not bulky version of him, so I went with the Cable build. Added sculpt over his left shoulder, then replaced the arms with Hyperion. Cut the skirt pieces from the Ages of Thunder Thor belt, glued them in place, the sculpted the belt itself around that. Cape was a Vision cast from Vortious with the bottom cut for the shredded look. Head was a Joker cast from AngelForge with all the additional hair sculpted. Full repaint, and done. Blackheart is definitely my favorite of the pair, but I am still happy with how he came out in the end.
