One of my favorite comic runs has always been the original Guardians of the Galaxy. I love the team, I love the series, and always wanted to make the figures. There were a couple hold ups, mostly due to my pickiness. And then Starhawk. I never quite knew how to go about his wings and headpiece. Plastic wouldn't hold paint well, sculpt was too brittle, and craft paper would get messed up in any shipping. But, since a request came in, I decided to work something out. Got this foam/cloth stuff from the craft section, and it seemed like a decent enough fit. Took a couple tries to cut it down to equal sizes, but I think it works pretty decently. Sculpted up the front piece of the belt, and topped him off with a head from Black Bolt. The repaint itself was rather simpler. Overall, happy with him in the end.
