Back in the mid 1980s there was a line of cheap 6” space alien action figures that was widely distributed by several companies. One distributor named Madison carded and sold the figures as Galaxy Robots. MX-Space Robots was a name used by another firm that wished to remain anonymous. I combined parts of two figures from these lines, Gilbolt and X-7, and came up with an MX Galaxy Warrior!

Because I added a clear plastic faceplate to the helmet, I had to cut the back of the head off to get it to fit inside. Sheet styrene, cut to shape, was used under the shoulder piece to seal off the suit. The shoulder mounted cannon came from a Japanese kit of custom weapons and detail parts for giant robot models.
