I'm not sure about the rest of you but I didn't see any shape-shifting/mimic abilities in the first Avengers movie from the Chitauri as they had in the comics... in fact nothing but a ton of Chitauri who seemed to be defeated much easier than most expected! Hey don't get me wrong it was epic and Hulk smashed and all but no heirarchy? No Chain of Command? No super beefy Chitauri commanders or elites? It left me asking... "Where's the Beef?"

Today we present you with an elite Chitauri Champion! The elite Champion Chitauri are but one upper class of Chitauri whom have more power and abilities than that of well known Chitauri Herr Kleiser (known from Earth-1610) whose power rivaled that of Captain America! These Elite "Champion" Chitauri are on the same level as Wonder Man and Sentry among others and should not be taken lightly else you'll be facing Death's scythe before your eyes blink!

Recipe:
- MU Thor Series Frost Giant.
- MU Thor Series Chitauri (the very poorly articulated figure, thank goodness the feet had decent articulation!).
- Cut hands from original Chitauri, modified to fit Frost Giant body.
- Feet from original Chitauri, removed and placed onto Frost Giant.
- Sword is from fodder weapons lot on ebay I used an exacto knife to cut and fashion into a hook style blade.
- Gold Mjolnir is from spare MU Thor Series figure. Clearly this is not Mjolnir but has similar powers and abilities - it does not have inter-dimensional portal capabilities however.
- Weapon on back of figure I believe is from G.I. Joe Snake Eyes figure or similar.
- Skirt if from original Chitauri, dremel'd and sanded down then attached clear plastic stretch band using epoxie and let cure, now it's stretchable and removable.
- Painted all FG armor, new Chitauri parts, and weapons with metallic gold abd flat black for handles etc.

I think this came out rather great... at first I was going to apply apoxie sculpt and do some armor but decided to retain the excellent chest and abdomen sculpt the FG figure came with and simply painted and outlined the previous tattoo black lines with gold to match the armor.
