This was the most sculpting and work I've put on a custom in a while. Lockjaw is on so many currently relevant teams in the comics, he will probably be popping up on screen before long, and deserves his own highly articulated figure. I decided to make him Build a Figure size by using a MOTUC Battle Lion I picked up on clearance. I figured this was the perfect base for a larger than life doggy. I completely rebuilt the neck with a movie ninja turtle arm stuck in both the figure on one end and the head on the other, so the head I got for him would sit up higher, and then went to town sculpting all the fur and wrinkles and building up the body to look like an English Bulldog. Finally the tuning fork was sculpted with procreate over paper clips, and the teleportation effects are from Electro lightnenign hands cut up.

The base figure is so cool, he can hit all kinds of great sitting, standing, walking poses.

I finished him off with lots of airbrushed shades of browns and blacks and gave him blue glowing eyes.
