When we learned that June 23 was the anniversary of the release of Tim Burton - Official Page's 1989 classic Batman, we had to whip up a special custom for the occasion!

This is our take on Jack Nicholson as one of the greatest villains of all time, The Joker!

This figure started life as the Joker from Alex Ross's "Justice" line of figures from DC Collectibles. The hair was sanded down and resculpted to more closely resemble Nicholson, as was the chin, but the existing likeness was pretty good and with a paintjob to accentuate it, quite passible. The suit was painted to match the movie, with metallic washes to give his bowtie and vest a satin finish. As always, a Krylon Matte sealant was applied at the end.

Hopefully he holds you over until Jared Leto's version in Suicide Squad this August!
