The only customizing here is a repaint. I bought this figure years and years ago, and he had some gold touch ups then, but they were really worn down and uneven when he arrived. I mixed my own blend of gold and yellow Testors paints and liked the level of sheen. I also repainted the eyes and added the red "chin" to the faceplate, which is accurate to how it looks in the comics. Toy Biz must have saved money by not putting that little dab of paint on. But it's there now! This figure is available right now on eBay because I have too many Iron Man figures since buying the MCU version of him. :)
