Hello Everyone!

Today I present you with the.. DAVID BOWIE- ZIGGY STARDUST Custom Figure!

This Figure is of David Bowie as he appears in 'Ziggy Stardust: The Motion Picture". David Bowie has been an incredibly important influence in my Life, and this figure is one I've wanted to do for a while. I would have preferred for it to be 100% Original sculpt throughout, but it was for a local Art show with a deadline way too close for that. The Figure does feature a 100% Original headsculpt, and original sculpted detail throughout. It did incorporate the upper arms and thighs from Neca Figures, parts from a robe for the lower part of the kimono, with sculpted detail over it and the hands of a McFarlane Figure. Once I had the figure completed I molded and cast it, so what you see is actually a casting and not the original Prototype.

Sculpted portions include: The Head, Forearms, Lower Legs from just above the knee and feet, upper torso and an original neck joint.

I may make more figures of David Bowie, as he deserves the best and I think it could have been done better. Although the timeframe was tighter than I'd like, I'd be lying if I said this wasn't a labor of Love and that I didn't bust my ass on this. It certainly was a challenge and I'm happy with how it came out. I don't think any could do justice to his Greatness, however, but I am happy to make the attempt! Hope you all dig it!
