So I built this back in 2010 to either be my wedding cake topper or a table centerpiece, but I chickened out at the last minute because I was/am a little afraid of my mother in law.
The bride's dress is made out of synthetic satin and netting samples that I think I picked up at michael's.
The terrain is model railroad coarse rocks, the pillars are dowels with bamboo skewers glued to them. Pillar tops are carved rigid insulation foam.
I believe all paint was spray paint except for the top layer of the terrain, which got a dry brush treatment with red enamel.
