Batman Ver. 2 (Batman - Arkham Knight) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:88402
Name:Batman Ver. 2
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Batman - Arkham Knight
Creator:yythebatfreak
Date Added:February 16, 2017
Height:7.00 inches
Critiques:Requested!
This is my second customising attempt on this Batman.
For this time, I referenced VADtoys' video on youtube, and sliced the waist of the figure, just to make him look less lengthy.
I also repainted the face and his armour.
The highlight of this custom is the fabric cape, which I replaced the original one with a type of thin one sided glossy fabric, just like the one appeared in the game. I scored a few lines on the cape, to imitate the detail of the CGI model.

And I owe an apology to Knightime as it was a bit late to share this figure.

Cheers man, I was using floral wires, they are common, thin and yet quite durable. For the holes, I was just using a modelling hand drill, the drill head size was 0.1mm.

Nice fig mate. I wonder how did you install the cape, I tried to figure out how to without using glue

Thank you!
I drilled two holes on his back, underneath the two straps in between his neck and the shoulder armor, and then I inserted wires into the holes. To make it permanent, I dipped superglue on both sides and pressed it down for a minute.

Awesome custom man! How did you paint the armor?

Thanks a lot man, the armor is painted with Metalic paints from Vallejo (Duralminium). I mixed in a few drops of black, just to tone down the color a little bit. I used black grey for the gaps in between the armor plates and finished it with Matt spray coat.

Awesome update to this! Wondering though what do you mean by scoring the fabric? I know what scoring is but you must have somewhat of a thick fabric to score it.

Thank you very much! I just used the back of a knife to score a few lines, and I was risking to cut through the fabric a little bit. Lucky enough I didn't poke through it.

Nice cape, man. I'm working on a Batman and want to use a bit of fabric on him, too. The thin you used looks almost like leather, nice stuff.
