Sypha Belnades is one of the playable characters of Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse. She was an elemental witch called into service with the church when Dracula's monster army began spreading across Europe. She was turned to stone by a Cyclops until being rescued by Trevor Belmont and Grant DaNasty. She fights with elemental magic, fire, ice, and electricity. She hides as a man until the end of the game, so I wanted to make her a little bit androgynous. I used the Aguilar body, painted it blue, got the head from the old McFarlane Fiona figure from Shrek, the legs came from a diamond select Gotham figure, and I made the sandals from cardboard and string.
Something about this figure just makes it the perfect fantasy/D&D style mage to me. Somehow it stands apart from the usual "magic user in a robe" figures while still very much being a magic user in a robe. I can't explain it exactly, I just know I love it. Great work!
