As I said for my Mysterio custom figure, I wanted more comic accurate villains. After making that Mysterio I looked to my movie Electro from the Amazing Spider-man 2 and decided to make him more comic book looking. For the head, I used a Marvel Now Captain America head because I used the regular Electro head for another custom, and his alternate powered up head would require too much work even before making the mask.
Speaking of the mask, I made it from an Animated Batman cape from DC Collectibles. This allowed me to simply cut the shape of the msk from it and it would be rubbery and not break easily. I originally just cut it out as one piece and tried to glue it on the head but then realized he needed eye holes. After attempting to cut eyeholes into the one piece and failing, I just cut off the lightning shapes from the center of the piece and glued them to the face. I glued and cut the shapes onto the head so it looked like it was one piece and not these weird shapes obviously glued to a Captain America head. I put a little bit of glue in between the shapes to try and make less of gaps and to again make them look like they part of one mask.

Painting then was pretty straight forward. Deciding to make the figure more Marvel Now inspired then a true classic version, I left the bottom half alone and drybrushed the top half green (no base black coat as the figure was already black). I painted the lining yellow and to the best of my ability painted lighting bolts on his chest. I gave him black gloves and painted the electric hands with a similar black fade as the Space Venom BAF official Hasbro one which I do not own.
For the head I painted it all black and then of course painted the flesh tone and the lips different colors. I painted the eyes white and painted the fron lighting bolt mask yellow. OOOHH MYY GOOOSSHH painting the yellow bits were a pain in my behind. Thus the lining is really sloppy and probably needs a second coat but I hate yellow paint so I'm too lazy to do that.
I'm fairly happy with the way this one came out, I'm just glad the mask doesn't look too terrible. Comment what you think and critiques are welcomed! Hope you like him
