Here are the main characters from my all-time favorite comic, Dachande and Machiko! First though, I can't take credit for the Machiko figure design: that's from the very talented Mr. Fenrir. I had an Anya Stroud figure, and decided to use her to go with my Dachande. So thanks Mr. Fenrir for your awesome recipe! This story was told in both novel and comic form: I prefer the latter personally, as it fleshed out the characters a bit more, and added in quite a few much needed plot elements and dialogue that improved the overall story. It begins with character Machiko Noguchi, a corporate overseer transferred to the desert colony planet of Ryushi. Enter Dachande(or Broken tusk, as he is referred to in the comic), a seasoned veteran yautja who leads a hunting party of unblooded predators to Ryushi. (which was beforehand seeded with xenomorph eggs to hunt) You can imagine what happens next. It was the first comic to introduce the "Alien vs Predator" concept, and it was handled brilliantly. I love it very much. Dachande was a difficult character to create. His intricate armor was tricky, and in the comic his color scheme changed with every panel! I used the NECA renegade predator, with lots of fodder armor, sculpting, and a paintjob using multiple hues of green. Machiko was made with the same parts Mr. Fenrir used, with a blue and black paint scheme. Also touched up her face a bit. Thanks for looking!~ ![]() |

As an aside, did you know Neca is coming out with their own Broken tusk figure? Yours definitely gives it a run for the money.
