Golden Girl was a figure from the 1980’s. However for this crossover custom I wanted her to look more like she appeared on her box art but I also wanted her to fit in with the style of vintage She-Ra figures who were from around the same time.

To make this figure I used the head, hands & lower body from a vintage She-Ra figure & the upper body & arms are from a Golden Girl figure. Her crown, Sword & Shield were also taken from the Golden Girl figure.

I added little pearl jewels to her body to match the pearl on her shield plus this also helped her fit in with the vintage She-Ra figure look.

I sculpted the extra little details on her body & boots using a product called fixit sculpt & repainted the figures costume using gold enamel paint.

Her hair was curled & styled using the boiling water method.

To finish her off I made a cape from gold tulle fabric & attached it to her back using gold elastic similar to that used on the vintage She-Ra figure's cape.
