Foresythe is the primary villain of the Laria novel. I have created the dark knight in his normal form, but I also wanted to create his look at the end of the story. Foresythe is a vile sadist with a god-complex. He summons a black fluid called Oilic that can possess corpses and bring them back to life under his control. When bested by the hero, Foresythe calls upon the Oilic to cover his body, granting him an unholy rebirth as a monstrous beast covered with fluid tendrils. The living liquid recreates flesh and organs, and links the bones of his soldiers to form a set of wings at his back.

To begin this figure, my daughter and I were going through our available figures and we stumbled upon a series of parts that really fit the character. For the body I used the Marvel Legends Space Venom, the head is a Marvel Legends Anti-Venom. I used a combination of sculpey, melted plastic, and hot glue to create the Oilic tendrils. Specifically for the two tendrils coming out of his back, I used wire with melted plastic straws. The wings are fully articulated and have 6 POA. The bone material came from a halloween skeleton bat prop. The articulation on the wings were created by using an unknown spiderman figure's legs. In the story, the Oilic is entirely black, however I used blue to better highlight the details of the tendrils and to show where the Oilic was not as thick/dense. My daughter and I had fun making it.
