Azrael is quite possibly my favorite alternate Batman. With Jean-Paul Valley under the cowl, The Dark Knight is a deadly, head-strong, walking armory with a quest to rid Gotham of evil. If his gauntlets aren't enough of an indication; he's quite effective.

I had an old ToyBiz Black Panther sitting around and realized that his hands would be perfect for an AzBats. A metric crap-ton of apoxy later, and there he was. The Dark Heir. I used a head from a Mega Bloks Knight figure I had, which had two red bulbs behind the eye sockets. I sanded away the face and attached a visor of clear plastic, painted it a nice metallic red, and sculpted the cowl (helmet) around it.
