Insulation foam with a black foundation paint, dark, medium, light browns were used for the bricks, the foam was sanded to give it a rough, stone texture. Exacto knife was used for chipped bricks and a pen was used for the mortar to indent the foam before painting. Bamboo sticks were used for the steel spikes poking out of the foam. Half inch thick thick foam core board was used for the doorway. Silver paint used for that with a light brown wash all over the piece for aging.
