You know what's terrible to remember after you start working on a figure? That you have multiple Angel bodies on hand. This would have been a great time to make use of those. So, the Gardener is apparently one of the Elders of the Universe. I hadn't ever heard of him until I was asked to fix him up. I got a kick out of the name at first, feeling like it from one of those periods where Marvel ran out of names. But, once I looked him up, it made more sense. Thankfully, I was asked to make this guy non-poseable, as well. Didn't have to worry about mobility in the robes. Just added the bracelets, sleeves, a couple of layers for the robes themselves, then the belt over that. Glued a cast pouch in place (from AvacsLab or Marauder, maybe?) and sculpted up the straps to it and then the cape. Whew. That took some time. Feet were from BossFightStudios, sanded down and resculpted just a little bit. The head was actually a GI Joe Retaliation Roadblock with all the hair sculpted on. I have a few and I figured with all the hair it wouldn't look so much like the Rock. Still somewhat does, but it may just be because I know it's there. Then, I took an Adam Warlock staff, cut off and sculpted the top. Full repaint, and all done! Next pair are going to be some crazy endeavors it sounds like.
