Thought it was about time I posted this. I started this one about a year ago whilst I was still making my Royals armour Thorin custom and I focused more on getting Thorin done so I left this one for ages to continue finishing and after getting a couple Robin Hood horses I took the manes off and used them to finish the neck. I took a toybiz horse and conpletely sculpted over the figure the hair pattern. Then I repositioned the ears and gave him antlers made out of steel wire then sculpted over again with miliput and painted it up. I really made it a priority that the Elk's neck could move like the toybiz horses do so I stuck over the rubber neck those manes I mentioned and now he has a fury neck but also can move it. He can hold orcs in his antlers as it does in the film and for fun I also took a picture of thranduil in his regal look as in the brining of the first hobbit film.
