This is a custom I was asked to make of a character called Starla from the classic She-Ra cartoon series.
There was an official figure of Starla planned to be released back in the 80’s as part of the Princess of Power toy line but unfortunately she never got past the prototype stage. You can see an image of the actual prototype online

So this is the figure my custom is based on.

I used a vintage Peekablue figure as a base.
After sanding down the details on her body I repainted her using humbrol enamel paints.
I cut off her original green hair & re-rooted it with yellow doll hair which was then styled using the boiling water method.
I then made her an outfit to match the one of the prototype & gave her a wand belonging to the official MOTUC Starla figure.
After trimming off the bottom of the wand I added a small star shaped jewel to the center of the star design on the top.

I then sculpted her star accessory (which is attached to her back) & cast it in transparent yellow resin to which I added some yellow glitter.
