This figure was made from a ML Wasp, ML Storm arms, ML Psylocke head and other figure odds & ends. This custom is based on the Marvel’s 90’s Age of Apocalypse character design of Jean Gray as she is seen in the Age of Apocalypse crossover. On Marvel Universe Earth-295 designated “the Age of Apocalypse” Charles Xavier died before forming the X-men and in his stead the X-men were formed by Magneto, not before the mutant Apocalypse practically conquered the Earth. In this reality, Jean Gray (no code-name) was captured during an X-men mission. It was at this time that she came into the hands of the evil geneticist Sinister that used her alpha mutant d.n.a and that of his adopted son Scott Summers to create the X-man, his ultimate weapon against Apocalypse. During that time she also gained the brand over her left eye, she was rescued by Weapon X (Wolverine) and the two have been lovers ever since.
