So I was in the mood for both an easy custom and one of an obscure character at that. Sometime around Black Friday I saw Bullseye was available for $15 and change; I hadn't had the chance to work with that particular base body and thought it might be fun. I tried thinking of who I could easily convert Bullseye into and thought ol' 8-Ball here might be pretty easy as well as fun. He's pretty obscure to boot, so I thought he'd be perfect for what I was in the mood for.

Head: Keychain (from eBay)
Body: Bullseye (Man-Thing Series)
Pool stick: Buffy the Vampire Angel figure

I simply painted a flat black over the bullseye on the upper torso and painted white over the gloves and boots to cover those Bullseye rings. I then put some Modpodge over the white of the boots and gloves because the white I used was glossy.

The head was tricky. I unscrewed the chain and Dremelled out a hole on the bottom for the neckpeg. Unfortunately, the hole was a smidge too tight, and I had to twist it to get it off so I could keep redrilling the hole. But, alas, the peg finally snapped off inside the head. So I had to grind out the Bullseye neckball, and then glued the 8-ball onto the neck with some Krazy Glue. Fortunately he doesn't have any discernible eyes so it isn't bad having the head in a permanent position; you can't really tell where he's looking under that helmet anyway.

Other than that, this was a pretty fun custom to make, and very easy too! I think he'll look nice on my Spider-Verse shelf, mixing it up with the many Spidey incarnations there since an incarnation of 8-Ball currently works for Roderick Kingsley, the Hobgoblin, whose figure from last year is also on said Spider-Verse shelf. I'd put 8-Ball on my villains shelf if I could, but space is becoming more and more limited there.
