Hello my friends! Today I bring you my first female custom and it's none other than my favorite villainess femme fatale: Viper aka Madame Hydra! With the release of improved Black Widow figures recently I decided that Madame Hydra needed a makeover as I most of the time pair those two up for fight scenes. Now the Madame Hydra and Black Widow figures I previously used were the Toys R Us exclusive two pack Black Widow that came with the Winter Soldier and the Arnim Zola Series Madame Hydra. Those two figures paired up really well together but as of the release of the Ultimate Marvel Legends & the vintage wave Black Widows, they really seemed outdated.

I already had my Black Widow figure now she needed her nemesis, my first step was to get a Hellcat figure and a head cast from the SDCC exclusive Psylocke as I thought with the proper painting it would resemble Viper, I was very happy once the head was painted and moved on to the body. Now I've seen some amazing Madame Hydra customs on this site and some statues online and both shared the same details like the lines on her costume, the holsters, her long sleeve gloves and her boots. I decided to sculpt most of these details and decided to get rid of the heels on her boots and the hair covering one of her eyes as they didn't seemed appropriate or useful for me for hand to hand combat. I did add a couple of parts on her hair to increase the volume and make it look more natural.
