Felicity base left pretty much intact, removed the high heeled shoes and replaced with a pair of ML SDCC Shanna feet. Added some length to the skirt with Pro Create. The head came off of an ML Mockingbird with the hair cut short and added some braided buns with Apoxie sculpt. The most innovative part, IMO, is the shawl. I was going to make it from ProCreate, but since my wife loves to hoard old gift bags, I just cut off the hand strap off one of them and used that! Pretty nifty, right 🤪? The props were made from balsa and bass wood from my local Michaels craft store. Pictures were borrowed off the internet. This Frida is sort of a commission work, my niece asked me if I could make her a Frida figure and of course I couldn’t say no to that. Let me know what you think.
Ok,so, I forgot to include a few other details like:
The paintbrushes were made from toothpick and a bit of Apoxie
The painters palette was cut out of a comic backing board
The earrings are small brass craft store bands
The cigarette was hand crafted by Moi’ with Apoxie and hand painted then I added a bit of hot glue to emulate cigarette smoke and lastly, though it’s barely noticeable, I made my Frida
a wristwatch with Apoxie.
