Amelia Vought met Charles Francis Xavier at a critical stage in her life after facing Lucifer and having lost the use of her legs, Amelia was a nurse who helped her recover and soon the relationship between her and her patient became more close to the point that they fell in love. Together they went to the United States to live together as a couple. There came a time when Charles Xavier was designing the mutant locator computer called Brain, completing the work he had dreamed of doing with Erik Leshner, detecting confused mutants and helping them so that they could control their powers and learn how to make good use of them.
