Catching up on a lot of commissions. Another fire-chick this time Binary (aka Carol Danvers aka Ms Marvel). Pretty simple custom that I made entirely harder than I needed to heh. Base is Moonstone body. Originally this had a Red She Hulk head but I somehow managed to lose it to the black hole that is my studio... so a movie Black Widow replaced it. Flame "hair" are 2 rubber flame accessories from Sunfire that I cut and blended together. There is very little additive sculpting in the flames so its very bendy and durable and light still comes through it for a great effect. The flame accessories on the legs and arms are pieces from Human Torch attached and blended via apoxie. There were so many visual takes on this character in both costume and "flame hair" from various artists but the buyer wanted a more flame/teardrop look to the head vs the classic starburst shape (which I think was the right call, the flame starburst looks silly in 3D. I tried it first and didn't care for the result) The legs were slightly trimmed to give her a leaner physique. Thats all on this one. Thanks for looking!
