Ok, so I wanted to repaint a venom but could only get hold of the clear plastic version! (was ok to paint over)
pretty happy with the way the face turned out, painted the whole figure black, then dry brushed dark grey, then mixed a tiny bit of metalic blue with a lighter grey for highlights then a black wash coat. spent a lot of time on the face, used several colors + wash's on the teeth/tongue. used some gloss varnish on the tongue & teeth, but you don't really get the effect in these pics.
the only thing I'm not happy with is the spider on his chest, wanted to do it more in the style of the new venom, but kinda sketchy looking, it's mostly covered with blood so I guess it doesn't matter!
I've always seen venom as a rabid, mass murdering psycho & wanted a gory look, so added blood splats, I remember him best from maximum carnage, where he seems obsessed with eating brains!
hope you like it, I've got a finished deadpool I need to post next, + I'm half way through a cable & a winter soldier.
I realise I'm posting mostly overdone figures, I'm working through my favourite characters first!
