Hey, what’s up, guys ?

Here‘s another mordor-maggot, to add to my orc-army, by recycling defect figures.

I‘ve cut off the lower body of an Isengard-orc warrior (one leg was broken off).
Combined the upper-body (kept the hip-rotation-joint; dremeled off a little bit, at the chest-area) with the lower-body, of an Two towers-Aragorn. Dremeled off some material at both hips.
I‘ve placed 8mm, of hard-rubber in between upper-/lower-body, to get the proportions right.

Both parts got heavily „greenstuffed“ (Last picture)

Only Toybiz knows, why the right leg of some Aragorn-figures are so awkwardly bent.. but such a „deformed“ looking leg, fits for an orc, perfectly. Sadly...after sculpting and with the shin guard attached, it doesn’t look that bent anymore.

Most of the armor is sculpted over plastic, except the shin-guards, which are casted and reduced in width. Hip-armor and loin-/rear-cloth is from an orc lieutenant/Guritz.

Initially I wanted to mount a different orc-head, which I have a few already stockpiled/sculpted, but lately, I went with the original head, which I‘ve resculpted.
No, my imagination didn’t run riot... that facial tattoo is inspired by an orc-bust from WETA and pictures from the movie.

The helmet is based on a „Sam in orc armor“-helmet, with some sculpted add-ons.

This orc grunt comes with a variety of weapons :
Sword is sculpted over plastic
Axe: wood handle; blade is sculpted over plastic; triple-spikes carved from polypropylene
Spear : blade is carved from pp; pole is a twig.
Knife is just made of sculpy.

Faux-leather for the straps.
Faux-fur on the back
Elastic band to mount the shoulder/arm-armor-plates
