I present Anstin Lorice Fallen from the second book in the Laria Saga Series, Laria's Shadows. Early in the story, Anstin challenges a mechanical beast possessed by a demonic lifeblood called Oilic to save a devastated village. While his friend helps evacuate the town, Anstin duels the Machine alone. When his ally finally joins him, the two fight back until Anstin sacrifices himself to save his comrade. The Machine slices through his torso, severing him in two. Anstin's friend is able to best the beast, but the sinister fluid soaks Anstin's corpse, granting him a second, though cursed, life. Anstin's decaying yet possessed form haunts Laria searching for an escape from his personal hell. With each day that passes he feels that he is slowly losing himself...

I was excited to see the release of the WWE zombie figures because a large component to the Laria novels consists of this hive-mind, parasitic liquid that is able to regenerate dead flesh while trapping souls in their corpses. This means that many characters are in various states of decay. There was one figure that had the exact type of rot needed for Anstin Fallen where the stomach region was decayed and intestines are exposed and falling out below exposed ribs. I added strips of black electrical tape to the zombie's legs for clothing and painted a more normal flesh-tone to the upper body. I also added more red and black paint over the green flesh of the figure. I used teflon plumbing tape for the bandages and a random halloween decoration cloth for his withered cape. A stylized black ribbon was used for the Oilic tendrils coating his chest and face. The head is a Sentry head where I painted the eyes, but they have a panic /manic expression that I think fits with his fate. It is hard to see, but he also has a tattered red cape that I believe went to Thor Odinson.

My children and I make these Laria figures just for fun.
