Wanted to make a Pitt figure, since Purchasing a Pitt BAF is out of my budget, but I still think the BAF is amazing. I saw another custom here using an ICONS Hulk and thought that because of its size it was gonna be perfect for it. Although this is not a unique approach since looking around the realm I saw the Icons Hulk used for it too. I do recommend to take a look at other Pitts in the site, they are all amazing. But The figure was really fun to make and the most interesting part to make of the making was the jacket, which is malleable and after trying to build one from vinyl or cloth it became obvious that I am not a good tailor. I took a picture of him holding a DC Suicide Squad Deadshot 6 inch so you can see its proportions. I hope you guys like it. Recipe: The figure - Icons HULK, repainted with airbrush, and a little of shadowing with chalk pastels pulverized. - Head re sculpt of the Icons Hulk Head. Face and hair grinned down. - Fingers where drilled in inserted toothpicks and nails turned into claws. - Ponytail made with apoxie sculpt malleable. - Chains are just chains bought in an arts and craft place and darkened with paint acrylic black. The Jacket: -Last year I tried a few parts by mixing apoxie in proportions that have stayed maleable for more than a year. So I used 3 times as much grey compound than the black compound, which makes a mixture that aftes a few hours stay as any other plastic coat you see in figures. I wanted the jacket to have the shape of the chains so this is the process. 1. tighten the chains across figure Body as they will be in the final figure. 2. Wrap plastic wrap around figure torso (R actually made a poncho. 3. Cover with Vaseline or blistex small amount, the plastic wrap so the apoxie won't stick 4. Mix tree parts grey to 1 part Black apoxie Sculpt, rolled it with my pasta roller, 5. Started building the cape on top. And left it dry over a few hours. 6. Removed Jacketand let it sit till next Day. 7. Added more apoxie to it for more details like inner filling, and parts I thought needed more (this mixture still use 3 to 1 proportions). 8. Added zipper in the inner jacket, glued and filled parts with apoxie. 9. the jacked is removable so it has to open under the arms, It has Velcro on each side to close it. 10. Airbrushed it Red on the inside, black on the outside. 11. glued Spikes. 12. The Pony tail is malleable as well I used the same same 3 to 1 mixture ![]() |
