Maggie is the first one in my series of favorite Exosquad characters. I tried to imagine what some of the character elements from the cartoon and original action figure would be if they were more realistically rendered. So I see her uniform and armor as representing a motorpool mechanic pressed into combat.
I made all the noob mistakes on this one; didn't prepe the joints well enough, ruined my yellow armor with a bad wash, had to sculpt the middle torso entirely from scratch because I over worked the plastic trying to add the articulation, the list goes on. But it was the shared wisdom and experience of the users here that got me through and tought me the craft. Overall, I'm happy with this as a first custom. I've never taken a figure all the way to sculpt and paint before, so I'm going pretty easy on myself with this one.
