Ocheeva is the mistress of the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary in Cheydinal. The Dark Brotherhood is the greatly feared secretive guild of assassins contracted by clients to perform assassinations sometimes in a specific manner such as infiltrating a fort and swapping out a medicine with a poison or removing the fastenings of a animal head ornoment above an unsuspecting victims favourite chair as he sits in it. The Dark Brotherhood questlines is heaps of fun twists and turns and rewarding on the whole. This is why I chose for my first Argonian race figure to be Ocheeva as she is the one of the Argonians you spend the most time interacting with and is different to some of my other planned customs.

I used the remaining upper body of a Toubiz black cat with Eowyn’s arms and legs and Aragorns feet. For the head (which I’m proud has an opening jaw with some nice teeth and a tongue sculpted in) I used the joint in a figures hand placed on the Black Cats neck and used Eowyns feet as a round base to trim down and sculpt over. The dagger handle is the witchkings knife with Aragorns pummel and the blade itself made from plastic as well as the cross guard then sculpted over. Finally a tail was taken from a snake with a rubber wire in from a medusa horror figure.

There was a lot of sculpting involved and different techniques used. To get the scales detail I used the chainmail neckpiece from Elrond to imprint the pattern and the hand on the pauldrons arm is a Count Dooku hand print onto clay on top of a bit of fodder cut and trimmed into shape then detail added. The head was sculpted first then the tongue then the teeth by making a thin length placing it in the mouth on both upper and lower sections the using a knife to sculpt. The horns are cocktail socks gone over with epoxy to strengthen and shape and then the arm details, straps etc were sculpted from scratch. The knee pads are parts cut from Eomer pauldrons then sculpted over and shaped and I used Haldirs shawl for her belt then sculpted the detail as well as her collar strap. Finally I used a Gandalf belt part for the largest strap over her shoulder and back. Little details here and here also were sculpted.

Painting was complicated as her skin has so many colours being a lizard species as well as her tail. The rest was bogstandard mixing paints to get f right colours and dry brushing for scratches on the metal parts.

I’m really happy with her and glad to post her here, she’s super poseable and stands really well even without her tail touching the ground. I hope you like Ocheeva the ShadowScale assassin.
