I just completed my version of the Predator team after making all its members. Some might think I'm crazy to use the SDCC Hawkins as a base but instead of picking up a figure that has nothing in common with the other Predator members I already modelled, I preferred to give conformity to all the set (that I want to stay on my shelves for a looong time) and so I used the official Neca release for a slim, lighter soldier (compared to the others that, except of course Hawkins, are all beefy and "hulky"). I removed Hawkins backpack and gunholder.I made the vest out of a Neca Commando's, cutting some parts to make it lighter, changing slightly the position of the belly pokets, and adding some particulars made with green stuff, like the poket on the left shoulder and the water bottle. To adapt the vest to the body, expecially to the shoulders, I had to cut and drill out some parts. I made a neckchain with green stuff (don't ask me how, but I did😄- I'm still wondering...) and modelled the hat with some epoxy stuff and painted it after adapting it to a Neca T1000 head. The grenade launcher is the lst thing I added, bought from a japan store and waited for it to arrive I think two months: it's a Little Armory set that I painted black and to wich I put some signs of scratch. The gun is Hawkin's original one. The knife was originally ,if I remember well, on the right leg. Painted it all and added some Tamiya panel liner black to make it more realistic and sprayed it with some matte finish.
