What I did for my Wolverine claws was a little different, I took safety pins and cut the long bits off. Then cut them down to my preferred size and hammered them so they'd look flat from the side. Then I just hot glue the end that goes into the hole on his hands and done. I like my version better cause they're already metal rather than painting them. And when you hammer them they come out curvy.
