What is the clear stand/holder you are using to hold the figures while working on them?

Just one question from a customizing noob, what do you call these sort of upper leg joints (that connect to Punishers hips)? I need a pair of legs that have this sort of joint for a custom and have to seek out figures with this specific type of joint.

All the old DC Universe Classics figures had hips like that. They're my favorite hips to use for animated style customs because they make for a streamlied silhouette. They also look great for figures with pants, the articulation disappears into the folds.

Awesome tutorial, just one question, Will figures in different scales be able to have parts swapped?

You'll most likely need to do some modification if you're trying to connect a 3 inch figure's leg to an 8 inch figure.

Great tutorial. I have recently started doing more in depth customs and I am learning body swaps. I have recently swapped a lower on a DCUC figure and the waist swivel is now very loose. Do you have any suggestions for tightening things up?

Re-open the figure and add apoxie sculpt or try shims (like thin plastic, glued to one surface, leave hanging out, then trim off). If it is only a little bit loose, try superglue method.
