Stuck Waist Joints Custom Tutorial
If you've ever had a figure with a stuck waist joint, this tutorial shows you how to get him turning again!
This custom tutorial was contributed by Mint Condition Customs
Welcome to another one of my action figure customizing tutorials. Here, I’ll be teaching you how to fix a stuck waist joint. It happens right? You get the figure out of the package, and as you’re testing all the articulation, you notice the waist won’t turn. No matte how hard you try, it just won’t budge. And you don’t want to break it, so you just leave it alone, dealing with the thought of never having your action figure turn its waist.

Well fret no more! It’s actually a pretty easy fix and I’m here to show you how to do it. All you need is a hobby knife (X-Acto brand works best) and your two hands.

Alright, let’s begin!
