Starfire
New Teen Titans (DC Direct) - Series 1
Rated 4.00 stars by daredevil96's Sidekick Studio
I, being a huge fan of Starfire(Koriander) was so excited to recently get my hands on this amazing figure. If your a fan of the Wolfman/Perez Titans, this figure has all the details and the likeness of Kory from the 80's. The only thing wrong with her is her eyes are a translucent orange and they are supposed to light up green by pressing her belt. If you bought her in 2000 she would probably work but practically all these figure out there to this day wont. The batterys are not replaceable and they die out quickly....[See More]
Deathstroke (Masked)
DC Universe Classics (Mattel) - Wave 3
Rated 5.00 stars by daredevil96's Sidekick Studio
YES! This is the best Deathstroke figure ever! Same articulation as any other DCU figure. He has great detail in sculpt and his suit is based on the contemporary Teen Titains from 2003. He comes with many different weapons!...[See More]

Painting eyes are the most fun part next to skin tone. You can use a super thin brush but I prefer toothpicks (it gets into smaller places). Go to the tutorials on the customs page. There are two tutorials called "painting eyes" and "painting a head". That's where I learned. Good luck
Daredevil
Marvel (Toy Biz) - 12" Marvel Studios Collector's Edition
Rated 4.50 stars by daredevil96's Sidekick Studio
This is a really nice figure and comes with some cool billy clubs. His costume is msde of a plasticy leather. Hes 13 inces tall and doesn't really fit in well with any hot toys figures. His suit can zip up. The only thing is his face is just painted one flat color and hes more tan then the ml 6 inch....[See More]

Daredevil (Extending Billy Club)
Marvel - Super Heroes (Toy Biz) - Series 1
Rated 2.50 stars by daredevil96's Sidekick Studio
This is a semi good figure but it still does not compare to the toys of today. It fits in well with all other 90's toys. However it has a terrible paint job and the dd logo scratches off. His grappling hook is kind of cool and ressemles all the garbage hasbro puts in all the marvel and dc movie 3 inch figures....[See More]
Namor
Marvel Legends (Hasbro) - Ronan the Accuser Series
Rated 5.00 stars by daredevil96's Sidekick Studio
I just picked Namor up at the Dallas Comicon: A Toy fans best friend! Namor has an incredible sculpt. He does not have any ball joints but I don't really care due to how nice a figure he is. I really don't have any nagative things to say about him. Unlike the Toybiz Namor, This one is more thin in shape and is wearing his classic costume. The face sculpt is amazing and the wings upon his feet are much larger and better painted then ToyBiz. When it comes to this figure, sadly, Hasbro won....[See More]

Marvel Legends Showdown (Toy Biz) - Battle Booster Packs - Series 2
Rated 4.00 stars by daredevil96's Sidekick Studio
I'm not crazy about the Marvel Universe scale though I do have quite a bit. I thouht I would pick up the Showdowns Captain America at the Dallas Comicon. He has a decent face sculpt which I think is a ML Bullseye shrunken down. The middle torso attaches to the pelvic region and can be easily removed. I like the pattern of scales on his chest, very nicely done! His sheild is huge and can be clipped to either arm with ease! I somewhat prefer the showdowns over the MUs, they're like tiny Marvel Legends. Thank God they're not by Hasbro........[See More]
Rocky Balboa (White Trunks) (Post Fight)
Rocky (Neca) - Basic Series
Rated 5.00 stars by daredevil96's Sidekick Studio
I love rocky and these figures look amazing! I prefer the variant over the regular due to the way that this fig looks more like stallone. He has good articulation around the knees and an interesting " mouth-shape" to the articulation around the stomache. Very awesome gloves. They feel like rubber, but are probably just plastic. I would recommend this one to all rocky fans! . . . . . . . . . . "yo adrian, neca did it"!...[See More]
Captain America (Super Combat)
Captain America - The First Avenger (Hasbro) - Movie
Rated 3.00 stars by daredevil96's Sidekick Studio
WIELDING THE SHEILD HERE IS CAPT AMERICA. THE THING ABOUT THIS GUY IS THE WHOLE THING. I BOUGHT MINE IN AROUND MAY/JUNE AT THE DALLAS COMICON FOR 10 BUCKS RIGHT BEFORE SERIES 2 CAME TO STORES. I WAS VERY EXCITED UNTIL I SAW THE MOVIE PICTURE ON LINE AND SAW THAT ITS NOT EVEN THE SAME THING! STILL, IT WAS A COOL FIGURE. I STILL REPAINTED IT...... AND THE RED SKULL....[See More]

Marvel Legends (Toy Biz) - Series 10 - The Sentinel Series
Rated 5.00 stars by daredevil96's Sidekick Studio
Hands down, the best web-head EVER!!! This figure captures spideys likeness and personality. Its like holding history in your hands! This guy comes with a web net that can be attached to his neck, wrists, and waist. Its cool to have it on but when you try to take it off theres something odd about the way its attached to his neck. Its hard to get it off. Maybe its just my figure. Perfect for your collection!...[See More]

Awesome! Yeah, you're very right, it's not fair to judge the figure itself on something that is stiff on one copy. That happens with some of mine but it's really just that I got one with stiff joints or whatever. Anyway, this figure always looked awesome to me and now I know it is because of this great and detailed review!
Thor
Marvel Legends (Toy Biz) - Series 3
Rated 4.00 stars by daredevil96's Sidekick Studio
Thirty bucks is what I paid for this guy. He was most definetly worth it. I love his face, but not so much the hands. The problem with them is bottom of them. Just flat plastic. Its as though ToyBiz forgot to sculpt them out. Next, WHERE ARE THE LAST SET Of BUTTONS?...[See More]
